Awarded the 2007 Mortgage Professonal of the Year for the state of Mississippi, Mr. Shirley is one of the two Principal owners of Gum Tree Mortgage and been involved in the Mortgage Industry, based in Tupelo, for several years.  Mr. Shirley has served on the Board of Directors of the Mississippi Association of Mortgage Professionals as the Northeast District Director and Chairman of the Government Affairs Committee.  Mr. Shirley holds the certification of Mississippi Residential Mortgage Specialist.  Mr. Shirley holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Mississippi State University and is a native of North Mississippi.  NMLS#:  91137
